Research Topics

I am currently an associate professor at the Information Technology Center, The University of Tokyo.
My primary research interests are general-purpose computing on graphics processing units (GPGPU), computational fluid dynamics, and high performance computing (HPC). Our group was awarded the 2011 Gordon Bell Prize Special Achievements in Scalability and Time-to-Solution for peta-scale phase-field simulations.
